Sarah Barrow became Great Britain’s first female individual European Platform Champion since 1927, winning the 10m Platform at the European Championships in Berlin.
The Commonwealth medallist executed her dives well and scored 76.80 for three of her dives to finish in the gold medal position with a total score of 363.70.
"It’s awesome," Barrow said. "Going into the final I wanted to win a medal but I knew that gold would be tough knowing how strong the European field is.”
Olympic Bronze medallist Tom Daley won 10m Synchro silver, having scored several tens from the judges throughout the final. His highest scoring dive was his Back 3½ Somersaults piked which scored him a massive 102.60.
“It was my highest score out of my major competitions this year which is a good way to end the season,” said Daley. “I am now looking forward to some down time after a long season with three major competitions this summer."
Tom Daley also competed with James Denny finishing fourth in the 10m Synchro with 403.74, while Chris Mears and Jack Laugher finished in fifth place in the 3m Synchro with 391.98 points.
Laugher finished also finished fifth in the 3m Springboard.
Alicia Blagg and Hannah Starling, featured this month In The Spotlight, finished in sixth place in the 3m Synchro, after dropping a dive in the last round of the final.
