At the penultimate FINA World Cup series leg in Tokyo, Fran Halsall was on fire, winning a World Cup gold hat-trick and setting two new British records.
The 50m Back came first in 26.42 (BR), followed by both the 50m and 100m Free. Halsall’s fourth medal was silver in the 50m Fly, swimming to her second British record of the comp with 25.29.
Siobhan-Marie O’Connor just missed out on the 200m Free top three by less than half a second, but went one better in both the 100m and 200m IM to take double bronze.
Also in the medals were James Guy winning silver in the 400m Free, and Georgia Davies who set a new Welsh record of 57.06 for 100m Back silver.
The final leg of the series takes place in Singapore on 1-2 November.
