The opening day of the 2014 British Gas ASA National Age Group Synchronised Swimming Championships saw five different clubs taste victory in the Recreational events.
Witney & District Synchro Club from Oxfordshire set the ball rolling as they claimed victory in the 12&Under Team Combination event with Midlands clubs Rugby SC and Walsall SC taking silver and bronze.
Synchro powerhouses Bristol Central won the Team Combination in the 13-14 Yrs age group, beating City of Birmingham by just half a point with Rugby back on the podium again for bronze.
In the 15-17 Yrs age group, City of Salford jumped up one place from last year's results to claim gold with Halifax - last year's bronze medallists - also moving up to silver, and last year's champions Bristol Central taking bronze.
Finally, in the top Under 19 age group, it was Walsall SC who sealed the title with City of Birmingham and Rushmoor tying for silver.
City of Birmingham's Madison Griffith and Hannah Smith were the only entries in the 18/19 Yrs Duet and scored 60.1667.
