Olympic silver medallist Michael Jamieson clocked an early season's best for 200m Breaststroke silver at the Luxembourg Euro Meet.
Having set 2:12.37 at the Flanders Cup in Belgium last weekend, Jamieson improved to 2:12.05 in the final in Luxembourg to finish behind Germany’s world silver medallist and European champion Marco Koch (2:11.45).
Jamieson also showed an improvement in his sprinting with a 50m Breaststroke PB, touching in 28.74 to finish seventh with Loughborough’s Andrew Weatheritt claiming silver in 28.36 after a 28.16 from the heats.
Weatheritt also added 50m Freestyle bronze in 22.95 while Loughborough teammate Emma Wilkins made the podium with 50m Butterfly gold in 27.07.
City of Birmingham’s Brittany Horton continued her rich vein of form to take silver in the 100m Backstroke in 1:02.57 while there were also impressive performances from 15-year olds Erin Robertson and Tazmin Pugh.
South Ayrshire swimmer Robertson became the sixth fastest 15-year old British swimmer in history with a 32.48 heat swim in the 50m Breaststroke before claiming fourth in the final on 32.58.
Meanwhile, Ellesmere College Titans' Pugh took her PB down by more than 2.5 seconds to touch sixth in the 200m Butterfly final in 2:14.25.
