Jessica-Jane Applegate sailed under the S14 100m Butterfly world record to cap a series of impressive displays at the BUCS Championships in Sheffield.
The 18-year old stormed to a time of 1:08.13 in the heats at Ponds Forge, sailing more than two seconds under the old marker.
Applegate also set the fourth fastest times of her career over 50m and 200m Freestyle at the BUCS Champs, touching in 27.97 in the former and 2:10.33 in the latter.
Paralympic medallist Hannah Russell was also in good form in Sheffield, coming within a second of her S12 British records over both 50m and 100m Free with times of 28.29 and 1:01.12 respectively.
Among the other impressive performances from Para-swimmers, S10 swimmer Harriet Lee set a PB 1:17.71 over 100m Backstroke while Paralympic SB6 silver medallist Charlotte Henshaw impressed with her sprint speed as she clocked a 46.80 effort over 50m Breaststroke.
