Rachael Kelly was tipped as one to watch after an impressive season in 2010 when she won European Junior gold over 100m Butterfly then bronze in the same event at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in Singapore.
The following season, Kelly capped off a fine junior career with 100m Fly gold at the World Youth Championships in Lima, Peru, taking the touch by just 0.02 seconds in the final.
She won her first British medal with 100m Fly silver in 2013 then sprung a surprise to land gold the following year in Glasgow, once again taking gold by 0.02 seconds in a thrilling final.
Just three months later, Kelly was competing in her first senior major final as she finished fifth for England at the Commonwealth Games, less than a second shy of the podium in the final.
The 21-year old has started 2015 with a bang, lowering her 100m Fly PB to 58.25, and will be aiming to make her first World Championship team later this year.

In The Pool
Finest ever performance:
Winning the British Championships in a personal best which qualified me for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games which was my first major senior competition.
I don't really have any sporting role models. My parents are my main role models on life.
To go to an Olympic Games and contend for a medal.
If I wasn't a swimmer I would be:
I'd love to be a writer but unfortunately I don't have the imagination!
Tip for the top:
If something doesn't work out the way you want it to, it doesn't matter. Try and forget about it and move on. What will be will be.
Out Of The Pool
Life after swimming:
Hopefully get a job and start a family.
Would most like to meet:
Will Ferrell because he's absolutely hilarious!
Most prized possession:
My car. I spent a year paying it off and without it, I wouldn't have the freedom that I do. Plus it means I don't have to walk to training!
Biggest influence on career:
I couldn't have done anything or achieved anything without the support from my parents! They took me to training and competitions and help me through any tough situation and always believe in me.
I don't really watch much sport but I'm getting into rugby as my boyfriend is a rugby player!
At the minute, I'd have to say Rise Against, but I love Rihanna's new song Four Five Seconds!
One of my favourite meals is my mum's lasagne with home made chips, salad and garlic bread.
Spending time with friends, going to the movies, reading.
I can pretty much watch Pretty Woman over and over again! But I also love all the Harry Potter movies.
I train nine or 10 times a week in the pool. We do three weight sessions a week as well as two core circuits.
Sitting on my sofa watching a film with the family and snuggling up with my dog Molly!
Last thing you do before you leave the changing room for a race:
Check that my hat and goggles are on properly, and visualise my race ahead.
First swimming memory:
At my first county championships, my nan bought me a racing suit. We thought they had to be the same size as my training costume so I ordered the same size! My parents and coach couldn't understand why I was going so slow - turned out I was just taking on water in my massive racing suit!!!
- Rachael will be competing at the 2015 British Swimming Championships in London - find out more here.
