Commonwealth 3m Synchro champions Rebecca Gallantree and Alicia Blagg added to their growing list of achievements with bronze on the opening day of 2015 FINA/NVC Diving World Series leg in Beijing.
The City of Leeds pair, who were European bronze medallists in 2013, recovered from a slow start to score 293.40 and finish behind pairs from China (328.50) and Australia (299.55) for their third World Series medal together.
Commonwealth champions Chris Mears and Jack Laugher were close to emulating their teammates in the men's 3m Synchro but ultimately fell four points short of the podium.
The Brits scored more than 75 for all four of their optionals but also fell foul of a slow start as they finished on 402.12 with Germany's European silver medallist Patrick Hausding and Stephan Feck taking bronze on 406.29.
The only other Brits in action on the opening day in China were Commonwealth silver medallists Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow who finished fifth in the 10m Synchro on 289.62.
