Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow appear to be peaking at just the right time as they landed 10m Synchro bronze at the third leg of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series in Kazan, Russia.
With the all-important home leg of the World Series looming large in London next weekend, the Brits scored their highest tally of the season to finish third on 312.54 at the venue for this summer's World Championships.
Couch had already reached the World Series podium this season, having won individual bronze at the second leg of the Series in Dubai last month.
But the pair - who won silver at the London leg of the World Series 12 months ago - will be pleased to have kickstarted their synchro season into action after below-par efforts at the opening two legs this term.
Alicia Blagg and Rebecca Gallantree were also in action in Russia, finishing sixth in the 3m Synchro on 266.07.
