Adam Peaty and Siobhan-Marie O’Connor won their second silvers of the 2015 European Short Course Championships on day four in Netanya.
Tripe world champion Peaty touched second in the 100m Breaststroke while World bronze medallist O’Connor took silver in the 200m Individual Medley.
Peaty, who has been shortlisted for this year’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year, had qualified fastest from the semi finals with a 56.84 yesterday.
And while he was slightly slower in the final, his 56.96 effort was good enough for silver behind World 200m Breaststroke champion Marco Koch (56.78) but ahead of Lithuania’s Giedrius Titenis (57.02).
O’Connor repeated her result from the 100m IM to land her fifth medal from the past three European Short Course Champs.
Hungary’s world champion Katinka Hosszu set a Championship record 2:02.53 for the touch but O’Connor was more than two seconds clear of the field as she set a British record 2:05.13.
