Tom Daley and Dan Goodfellow have continued their impressive form in the 10m Synchro with a silver medal at the Dubai leg of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series.
The pair were competing together for only the third time internationally, and stormed to silver with another consistent performance, an improvement on last week’s bronze in China.
The pair scored 428.91 points for their performance, with their best score coming from their Back 3½ Somersaults piked.
Bronze for the girls
Meanwhile, Tonia Couch and Lois Toulson continued their strong form, finishing on the podium as they won bronze in the 10m Synchro, after winning silver in the first leg in Beijing.
The pair’s best dive was their Inward 3½ Somersaults tucked, which scored them 74.88 points, bringing their total at the end of the competition to 311.76 points.
These results mean both pairs are now in second place in the overall rankings after two legs of the World Series, with China leading the way in both.
Chris Mears and Jack Laugher will be in action later on today in the 3m Springboard Synchro event, whilst tomorrow Couch and Laugher will be competing in the individual events tomorrow, hoping to fine-tune their dives and improve on their end results from last week in China.
