The synchronised swimming team that will head to the European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan, this summer has been announced by the British Olympic Association (BOA).
The ten England Talent athletes will be part of a 153-strong Team GB squad that will compete across 13 sports at Europe’s inaugural multi-sport Games.
The synchronised swimming competition takes place at the new Baku Aquatics Centre between 12 – 16 June and medals will be available across solo, duet, team and free combination events.
Karen Thorpe, ASA Synchro lead, said: “We were pleased with the performances in the qualification competition in Istanbul earlier this year. Securing bronze in the Team event was a great confidence boost and showed how hard the athletes have been training.
“The European Games will be a great opportunity for the athletes to experience what it is like to compete at a multi-sport event and we are looking forward to showcasing some great English talent.”
