Georgia Ward grabbed silver in the new mixed synchro event at the London leg of the 2015 FINA Diving World Series. As one of Tom Daley's training partners this was a welcome home event at the London Aquatics Centre.
Matty Lee (City of Leeds) and Ward had performed together just once before, at the FINA Grand Prix in Canada earlier in the year, where they also achieved Mixed 10m Synchro silver.
Ward joined the senior ranks in 2012, winning her first individual British medal with 10m Platform bronze at the 2013 British Diving Champs.
Having become a regular fixture on the senior domestic podium in 2014, the 19-year old also made the 2015 FINA Grand Prix podium in Canada with 10m Synchro bronze.

In the Pool
Women's 10m Platform.
Finest Ever Performance:
FINA Diving Grand Prix 2015 in Gatineau, Canada.
I'd love to compete in the Olympics and also a Commonwealth Games.
My family and my coach.
Training consists of both dry gym and pool work. In the gym we warm up, stretch, and then get doing our somersaults and lead-ups before heading off to the pool.
Pool training varies as you can't always be on the 10m, so we may have a session of just lead-ups or working on certain things like entries.
Last thing before leaving changing room to compete:
Tie my hair up into a bun.
Out of the Pool
If I Wasn't A Diver, I Would Be:
Tip For The Top:
Believe in yourself.
Life After Diving:
I'd like to do something that is sports related and I love working with children.
Would Most Like To Meet:
Most Prized Possession:
A ring that my grandma gave me and a necklace from a close friend.
Biggest Influence On Career:
Take a warm shower, get in my pyjamas and watch a film or tv show.
Taylor Swift, All Time Low, The Maine, Mayday Parade.
First diving memory:
I will always remember learning my first 10m dive at a camp we did in Sheffield.
It was a back two and a half pike and I stood on the 10m crying for about fifteen minutes, but I did it!
