FINA/NVC Diving World Series
Having missed out on a medal at the London leg of the World Series, synchro pair Jack Laugher and Chris Mears won 3m bronze in Moscow. This was only their second time competing together on the international stage, and Laugher’s first FINA Diving World Series medal. He quickly added to this with his first international medal, winning bronze in the 3m Springboard.
At the fifth leg of the World Series, Laugher and Mears repeated their performance from the previous leg with bronze in the 3m, while Couch and Barrow repeated their London leg performance with silver in the 10m.
Laugher then went on to win his second individual medal with 3m Springboard silver, while Daley just missed out on a medal, coming fourth in the 10m Platform.
With a confident performance, and proving they are ones to watch for the future, Jack Laugher and Chris Mears won a further medal in Mexico, with their first silver World Series medal. Laugher ended the Mexico leg with a third place ranking for the Series, having added another individual medal with 3m Springboard silver.
Having missed out on a medal at the first five legs on the series, Tom Daley showed his true potential, winning silver in the 10m Platform to place him third in the overall rankings.
